  5. Hello and Welcome to windows10.help lucyfurferalcat. I have yet to find a computer running either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 that is incompatible with Windows 10 and I have upgraded at least fifty of them so far. I wouldn't worry about future Windows updates, I'm sure they'll be fine. Are you currently having any other issues with your Win 10 operating system?

  9. Let us know how you fare, Dell.
  10. As far as I know, right now, you can only import bookmarks from Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer into Edge. I think that the work-a-round is to import your safari bookmarks first into one of the supported browsers. (IE, Firefox or Chrome) After you have done that, you should be able to import them into Edge by clicking the "hamburger" (three lines at top right corner of window.) Click on Import Favorites and select the appropriate browser. That should work.
  11. Hello abblwol and welcome to windows 10 help. I don't know what the rules for password recovery assistance are here, at this forum but on most other tech boards, help with forgotten passwords are prohibited. The reason being, we have no idea if the computer is really yours and there is no way of actually proving it while seeking online help. My apologies......
  12. That's pretty neat. I was under the impression that you need a Windows 10 host computer to be able to use/boot Windows To Go.
  13. Are you using free or pro CrashPlan, @ShockerSH?
  14. Do you have listed a cell phone number for your Microsoft account? They need this to send you a new PIN.
  15. Have you made sure that your Windows 7 SP1 has been completely updated with Windows updates before you attempt the Windows 10 upgrade? That could be why it is failing.
  16. You are upgrading to Windows 10. Rich assumed that you were updating.
  17. There have been four episodes so far. It's on NBC, Tuesday evenings at 10pm EST. My husband and I can't stop laughing at their antics.
  18. You'd look incredible for 85 too if you had a face-lift.
  19. William Shatner is in a new reality show called Better Late Than Never. He, along with George Foreman, Henry Winkler and Terry Bradshaw are traveling together in Asia. It is a comedy of errors. I am not usually a fan of reality shows but I cannot stop laughing at this one.
  20. Even if the progress percentage appears stuck, the upgrade is still running. An error message will be displayed in case of actual failure. Microsoft recommends giving the upgrade a full 24 hours to complete, even though it shouldn't take that long.
  21. I have mine disabled, I never see it or even think about it. Out of sight, out of mind.
