For the Trekkies here, how do you feel about Star Trek Turning 50?

I liked Star Trek. How time has flown by.

Many of Star Trek's technologies have come true. Amazing.

I watch all the modern ones,too... DS9, Voyager, TNG, even Enterprise and you are right about the tech. So much has come from Trek in our modern world.... cells, Tablets, communications etc....

I will say, though, I am not up for the new alternate universe with the movies, never seen the latest one even. Hopefully, the new CBS one turns out to be good?

Rarely a sequel is as good as the original.

We can hope.

You are so right I feel the one exception was the third "Raiders of the Lost Ark" mainly because Sean Connery really added something to that movie.

Personally, I'm just shocked by hold old William Shatner is! I guess it should be no shock honestly since the series is 50 yrs old!

William Shatner is in a new reality show called Better Late Than Never.

He, along with George Foreman, Henry Winkler and  Terry Bradshaw are traveling together in Asia.

It is a comedy of errors.

I am not usually a fan of reality shows but I cannot stop laughing at this one.

I have never seen this show? Sounds like one of those VH1 "The strange life" ones. LOL I gotta see it.

There have been four episodes so far.

It's on NBC, Tuesday evenings at 10pm EST.

My husband and I can't stop laughing at their antics.

it's good. Watched it a few times. Tokyo was great... Really funny.
