Hi, my windows (Windows 10 x64 Enterprise) keep crashing in boot, i get the following error :
Error : 0xc0000225 (File: \Boot\BCD).
Can you help me please, i got this URL from Boot-Repair-Disk.
thanks in advance.
Turned on Toshiba satellite Sun. all good.
Turned on laptop Wed. & password don't work.
I researched & tried holding shift key, & followed thru the steps, but I got pictures on my desktop I refuse to loose.
Just wanted to post my success story and give thanks to @adacosta for his tip on how to upgrade AFTER the deadline from Microsoft!
I followed the step in that article and it was almost... flawless. Turns out it wasn't happy I needed some updates from Windows 7. The first time I ran it, it sat at 99% install status. After a reboot, I ran Windows Update and it installed a few patches.
Second time I ran the upgrade, it went flawless. Took a few hours and was done.
So, Thanks again!
This is the craziest thing I've ever experienced with a Window machine...gave me a good laugh! Was working remotely on a new Surface and there was a Windows Activation error, so went to Settings\Updates and there was a statement that the update server could not be found and check the internet connection? Duh, I'm working remotely and the browsers are not having issues?! So I decided to do a search on error 0x80072ee7 and came up with the following non MS post:
go to control panel search "view network connections" go to view network connections choose your network( which you are currently using ) right click on it and select properties scroll down to " internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) " hit properties Now choose Use the following DNS Server addresses Primary DNS Server - 22.214.171.124 and Secondary DNS Server - 126.96.36.199 These are the addresses of Google's DNS Servers They are free to use. Hit ok Guess what...it worked and Google did what Big Blue could not! I'm still LMFAO!!

Hi all, so I've been having this problem since the 11th of August. I upgraded to the anniversary build of windows and after the installation, I couldn't access settings, cortana, other windows apps and some third party programs. SFC scan and DISM doesn't work, my restore points got deleted after the upgrade, reverting back to previous build doesn't work, re-installing apps via powershell doesn't work, creating new account won't work, and the media creation tool just gets stuck on "restarting your computer in a moment" for 10+ hours. Can anyone offer any insight on to why this might be happening?
