Location settings

Every time I reboot and try to communicate with Corrtana, I have to reset my location settings. It seems that with each reboot, it turns off.

How can I stop that dfrom happening?

Regarding your question -- Have you confirmed that you've given Cortana Access to your location data? 

How To Enable Cortana Access to your Location Settings:

Click Settings > Privacy > Location > Location ON > Cortana ON

Hi @JulsieL I too would like to welcome you to the forum. I have a similar problem. Try holding down the windows logo key and click the C key. That usually resets Cortana. She can be a little stubborn at times. I have heard there is a big Cortana improvement in the anniversary addition!

I think you have not understood my question fully.

I have no problem turning on location and Cortana works properly.

However,. When I reboot I have to once more turn on location. It is turned off in settings, for a reason that does not make sense.

I hope this clarifies my problem.?

Hi! @JulsieL Doesn't the windows logo key + C work for you. That's how I wake Cortana up!

Also - Sorry for not understanding your issue. Have you checked all the setting in Cortana? I have created a zip file that shows how to access the settings in Cortana. Hope this helps
