It seems that you are experiencing a boot configuration error on your Dell Inspiron 5520. The error message indicates that the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file is missing or corrupted, which is preventing Windows from booting up. Here are some steps you can take to try to fix the issue:

Use the Windows Automatic Repair Tool:
Boot your computer from the Windows installation media (CD/DVD or USB).
Select "Repair your computer" and then select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair".
Follow the prompts to let Windows automatically repair any issues that prevent it from booting.
Rebuild the BCD:
Boot your computer from the Windows installation media (CD/DVD or USB).
Select "Repair your computer" and then select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Command Prompt".
Type the following commands, one at a time, pressing Enter after each one:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /rebuildbcd
Once the command completes, restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
Use System Restore:
Boot your computer from the Windows installation media (CD/DVD or USB).
Select "Repair your computer" and then select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "System Restore".
Follow the prompts to restore your computer to a previous point in time when it was working properly.
If none of these steps work, you may need to perform a clean install of Windows or seek assistance from a computer repair professional.

Rachel Gomez
