I just read of a simple trick to get rid of this annoyance HOPEFULLY once and for all-in google search, click on your adblock icon and turn it off for this site, then reload the page and click "no thanks" to SWITCH TO CHROME. Turn adblocker back ON and reload google search page. I didn't think in a million years it could be that simple, but low and behold...it seems to have WORKED! GLORIOUS!! Try that and good luck~
