Need to delete a gmail account from Outlook

Ok, this is a pretty big leap here.  Just got a new laptop and jumped from windows 7 to Windows 10.  Just a little different.  I set up a gmail account for Outlook, but it didn't work.  When I added a new account and got it running...ok, that was pretty easy really...now I cant find anyway to get rid of the gmail account that never worked.  It has to be buried deep.  Any one able to throw this old dog a bone?

Hi @kadenbuie - Welcome to the site!

Should be fairly simple.

How to Remove Email Account from Outlook 2016 or 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2016 (or 2013)
  2. Click File > Account Settings
  3. Email Tab
  4. Click the Account you want to remove
  5. Click Remove.

Pretty straight forward. Let me know if this helps.
