Windows 10 : Black screen with cursor at startup.

Recommended Posts

When I turn on my desktop, Windows 10  Pro starts cleanly.

I wait for the login screen, but the screen turns black, an arrow appears but nothing else happens ... !

What could be the problem and what can I do to solve it ?

Thanks in advance for your reply : to lukvdl@mailfence.com

Best regards.

Hello Loover1,

There could be many things you could try, but with the limited information on offer, the only thing that I can really recommend is trying to take a System Restore

Please note that some computers running Windows 10 come with this feature turned off by default, and if that's the case for your PC, then it won't be taking restore points yet, and you won't be able to use it. But you might wish to enable it today so that you can use it in the future at least for next time something happens.
