Windows 10 tech preview build 10041 released and available now

Microsoft released the next build of the Windows 10 Technical Preview last week to members of the Windows Insiders program. This latest build doesn't offer anything too earth shattering, but there's plenty of interesting changes and features.

Downloaded and installed 1004, everything went smoothly. All personal installed apps saved, very nice, nothing to reinstall. Just one small problem so far, show hidden icons does not work. I find it very interesting getting used to Windows 10, I like it, and as I mentioned before, I use it as my only operating system, personal files are backed up, plain sailing so far.

I wasn't even able to download it on my test system until today...took a full 24 hours for it to be offered to me via Windows Update. I guess this is an issue with other people, and Microsoft posted a "fix" for it in its answers forum: http://goo.gl/iRXlTs

I didn't have to do this, but would be interested how well it works for folks with the same problem.

Updated to 10041 and whilst ITunes works it no longer recognises my ipad so does not sync, anyone else experienced this and if solved then the solution
