Tips for Maintaining your Windows 10 Install

Recommended Posts

Here are some tools you may need to maintain W 10. The first thing should do is create a back up image of W10 http://www.groovypost.com/howto/create-windows-10-system-image-backup/

While this is a great feature, using a 3rd party image program like Macrium Reflect is a much better guarantee that you will be able to restore your PC like it was the day you created the image.

While your creating a back up image, you will be asked if you want to create a repair disc. I recommend that your do that also. It can be used if you are not able to boot into windows for some reason!

Then you need to create a recovery drive! http://www.groovypost.com/howto/create-windows-10-usb-recovery-drive/

Once you create the recovery drive, you can delete the recovery partition and gain that space back, or you can keep it also as another method of recovery!

This will restore your PC to factory settings when you decide that you want a fresh start!

Please fell free to comment or correct any thing posted here!!
