Sure, it's not the latest version, but if you're looking for a way to get in the iOS ecosystem on the cheap...why not? I am considering grabbing one for testing Microsoft apps so I can write articles for everyone. I do have an iPad mini for that, too. But, things work a bit differently on the handset.
