Disable the Annoying Windows 10 Shadows Under Windows

While the Windows 10 desktop UI is flatter and simplifies...making it much cleaner, there is one annoyance I have noticed which is the shadow it places around open windows. Here is a screenshot to show you what I am talking about:

ouch! It's really reminiscent of the the shadow Apple places around windows in OS X -- look familiar:

Getting rid of it is simple. Just right-click This PC the go to Properties > Advanced System Settings and click the Settings button under Performance. Then uncheck "Show shadows under Windows" and click OK.
