Enter password

My Asus laptop is stuck at "enter password". Black background, Blue and Grey box waiting for password that I don't know. Won't let me hold down F2 or anything else?

It sounds like your laptop is stuck on the login screen and is not responding to key presses. Try these steps:

1. Restart: Perform a hard reset by holding down the power button for about 10-15 seconds.
2. Safe Mode: After restarting, try pressing F8 or Shift+F8 repeatedly to access Safe Mode.
3. External Keyboard: If you have one, connect an external keyboard to see if it helps with key detection.
4. Password Reset: If you have a password reset disk or recovery option, use it to reset your password.
