Having gone through more updates and security updates than I can count, blocking as many as I can, I am now plagued with random 

black screens, no error messages, just a once in a while restart (soft boot) after black screen followed by a blue screen, rotating

wheel and a "please wait" message, When done I am back at the login screen wondering WTF just happened? No new "updates" or update

attempts and it is getting worse! I am so fed up with this I'm about to turn my $$$$ HP Workstation into a Hackintosh except I would need

to replace all my software!

Please advise as to where to start!
