Windows tablet mode problem

For some unknown reason 2 days ago my laptop screen turned from landscape view to portrait  mode. My laptop doesn't do a tablet mode. No matter what I do I can't get back to normal. I hate the thought of erasing and reinstalling Windows. This will be the second time in a month that I have had to do this and it is really a pain and very time intensive. When I called Dell they said it was a software problem and it would cost $289/year or $98 for a one time service. And this was in the first week.

I tried every suggestion that I found online over the past 2 days including a register link. Any suggestions. I have already done so many suggested fixes. I am very discouraged. I also have a Chromebook and never had any problems over 2 years..

Actually problem solved using personal settings. Nothing to do with tablet mode.
