The most easiest ways you can fix this error are as follows:

- By Disabling any third-party antivirus.

- Running the Windows Update troubleshooter.

- Checking Previous updates.

- Clearing corrupt data caches.

- Rename the SoftwareDistribution folder.

- Reset Windows Update modules.

 

Above are some few easiest way to fix the error.Still if you need more clarification about above step please revert back.. Will help you with that.
