I am just starting to try to learn how to use Windows 10 Speech recognition but am going nowhere.  I attempted to use the Microsoft community with no success falling foul of the 15 minutes on the bench rule for messing up my password so I would like to look for help hear.  Please direct me elsewhere if this is not the appropriate forum.

I managed to talk to the microphone and saw the words appearing on the Search box but I want to get them to appear on a sheet of A4 so how do I do that.

I kept seeing "Cortana" appearing but do I really need that?
