Security Health Fails for Windows 10

Window Security Health works OK when Quick Scan is selected. But Windows Defender crashes when Advanced Scans are selected.  I am running Windows 10, version 1803. This problem has persisted for seven days. The current build is 17134.112...

I have had two remote sessions which solve the problem temporarily, but a few hours later, Windows Security Health crashes when Advanced Scan is selected.

Before submitting this, I have run SFC and DISM.  DISM made repairs, then I rebooted.  The problem with Security Health Center still happens. This is a MAJOR ERROR, Microsoft.  This is fundamental to the safe functioning of WINDOWS OS.

The Windows Security app uses the Windows Security Service (SecurityHealthService or Windows Security Health Service), which in turn utilizes the Windows Security Center Service (wscsvc). This service makes sure that the app provides the most up-to-date information about the protection status on the endpoint.
