Printer Problem

I run a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit computer to which is attached a Canon MG7560 Inkjet printer.

On the top of the printer there are three buttons labelled Copy, Scan, and Cloud; if the document

I want to print is already on my hard drive, there is no problem and if I choose Scan and place the

document on the platen, again there is no problem and the print comes out as normal; however, If

I place the document on the platen and press Copy, the copy comes out completely blank.

Please help.
