File Explorer - "Working On It"

I''m having a problem when using File Explorer. When it opens it displays "Working On It" and appears to be going through a search process. I've never seen it come out of it. It is coming up in Quick View, but the same situation occurs when selecting desktop. None of the disk drives are shown on the panel when this is happening.

The only way to fix it is to restart the computer. At that point, File Explorer will initially work fine and then go back to same routine described above. Windows 10 was installed during the last week and no changes were made to its installed configuration.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?
