Adding "People" (Contacts) Icon to my Google Gmail on Windows 10

My question is about “People” (or Google Contacts).

I went through a Tutorial that says my current (on-going) Google Gmail Account has been linked with “People” App, but there is no Icon on my Gmail Screen for “People” (or a way to be able to see all my Google Contacts to “Add” or “Delete” to them from within my Gmail App). The Four Icons listed in the lower left of my Gmail Screen are [Mail (envelope); Calendar; Feedback (Smiley Face) and Settings (gear)]. There is a space between Calendar and Feedback, where, in Outlook, “People’ would be.

Can you advise me as to how to add “People” to my Gmail Screen, if possible? Again, when I go directly to the Windows 10 “People’ App, it says the connection with my Gmail Account already exists, but I’d like to be able to access “People” (my Google Contacts) from my Gmail screen.

Thanks !

Lori Wilkerson
