Installation freezing on blue logo screen

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium (SP1) and have used the PC check app to confirm that my PC is compatible with the Win 10 upgrade. When I got to install, I get through the install screens and eventually it goes to a blue Windows square logo with a spinning set of dots. The dots then freeze, along with the rest of the computer. When I force restart, it happens again. Then after a second restart it goes back to the old Windows version.

Any idea on what the problem could be? Thanks!
