Microsoft Launches Windows 10 Creators Update for Mobile
In early April, Microsoft launched the Windows 10 Creators Update for desktop PCs. The mobile version was delayed while Microsoft continued development to refine some features. Today, the company launched the RTM build for select devices. On the Microsoft Community forums, an article was published detailing instructions how to upgrade and which devices are supported.

The Creators Update for Windows 10 Mobile includes additional features and improvements for your Windows 10 phone, and is now available!
Note: Availability may vary by manufacturer, model, country or region, mobile operator or service provider, hardware limitations, and other factors.
Windows 10 Mobile will automatically download and install the update as it is rolled out to eligible phones. To manually check for the update, from Start, swipe over to the All apps list, then select Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates.
These are the Windows 10 Mobile devices officially eligible for receiving the Windows 10 Creators Update:
- HP Elite x3
- Microsoft Lumia 550
- Microsoft Lumia 640/640XL
- Microsoft Lumia 650
- Microsoft Lumia 950/950 XL
- Alcatel IDOL 4S
- Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL
- SoftBank 503LV
- VAIO Phone Biz
- MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601
- Trinity NuAns NEO
Devices not on this list will not officially receive the Windows 10 Creators Update. However, phones on earlier versions of Windows 10 Mobile (1511, 1607) will continue to receive monthly cumulative updates, such as security releases, per Microsoft's Lifecycle policy.
