I never watched it but my husband always did.

This looks interesting. I'll have to give it a whirl too.

I've seen this happening with the kmplayer and Windows 10 quite frequently, especially lately.
I agree with Dougie and Rich.
The VLC Lan Player is a lightweight and easily used video player.
It will do everything that you need it to do.

If you're running on a home built box with a variety of components you mismatched into a single system, (CPU, MB, Video Card etc...),
Why would any builder mismatch their hardware.
That doesn't make any sense to me.

I have been running Windows 10 Pro on my main box for a couple of months now, Rich and it's very stable.
In light of all of the problems that I have seen so far with the AU, I have decided to hold off for a while.

Let us know how you fare, Gary.
I'd rather not take the chance right now as I have Windows 10 on my main box.

I don't blame you if you are going to wait.
I'd rather let them iron out all of the kinks first.

Hi Update! I just finished creating a USB flash as one of the 3 methods mentioned above. The first method did not work for me. It said I had the latest updates!
Here's the details for the USB flash. Does this look right and is it the anniversary update??
Waiting for a reply before I try the MCT flash!
Thanks!
Yes, Gary. Build 14393.0 is the Anniversary Update.

That's a very good question.
I can't verify it, Gary but I will tell you this.
I am not going to do the Windows 10 Anniversary Update for quite a while.
I look upon the Anniversary update as very similar to the first Service Pack.
The Anniversary Update comes with a whole host of issues for many people.
I'll wait.

I understand they still work as mine are not new, but if my friend has to buy the Win10 he might be money ahead with a new and better computer.
This is true, for sure.

I don't know, I have upgraded computers to Windows 10 that are 6 or 7 years old and they run great with Windows 10.

I don't ordinarily use Cnet for anything, especially not for downloads.
However, there is a work-a-round for using 1Password on a Chromebook.

You may want to check it out and see if work-a-round is feasible for you to use.

Welcome to 10 Forum, hex40.
They are different boards but both are help forums for Windows 10.

My grandson's is a cheap little Dell.
I guess the old adage, you get what you pay for...applies here.
-
I don't know about 1Password but you can certainly use Dropbox.
My 4 year old grandson has Chromebook and I'm not impressed.
It only comes with a 16 GB HDD and no optical drive.

Welcome to 10 Forum Helixal.
There is another thread here in this forum referencing MS Money and Win 10.
Perhaps it may be of some help to you.
Edit: Sorry Gary I didn't see your link when I posted.

No way. Stay away from smartpcfixer. It's crapware!

I have to confess, I am usually one of the first to hop onto a new Windows OS but I struggled with adopting Windows 10 as my primary operating system.
Now that I've been using 10 on my main box, for the past few months, I have come to love it.

That's what I am thinking. (When you see that many.)
Hard to tell without seeing the IP addresses.

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update will begin rolling out to Windows 10 users for free on August 2 as an update, for PC and tablets, and then phone and HoloLens soon after. For those tech-savvy enough, the build in question that will roll out on August 2nd is build 14393, and if you're an Insider Microsoft is now testing a number of patches via the fast ring for you to test that will roll out as one big day-one update on August 2nd. It's an exciting time to be a Windows user, and if Microsoft's current strategy is anything to go by, it's only going to get better.

The Anniversary Update will come via Windows Update to all registered Windows 10 users.

Have you tried to right click and copy/paste it? OR as Holdum suggested, right click and send to the external drive?

I was not having a digitle entitlement! But I'm having the ISO file. So can I upgrade anytime after July 29 using the ISO file that I'm having?(10586)
No, in order to upgrade after July 29th, you must already have the Digital Entitlement.
Check Settings > Update and Security > Activation.

Windows 10 Versus Windows 7 ???

I am not sure exactly what you mean.
Did you have Windows 10 downloaded to your computer but not installed?
