What's your thought on a Chromebook?

Recommended Posts

I have an old ASUS Chromebook and it's a great little box. It is my living surfing box. We do most of our Amazon and Amazon Fresh buying on it (and I'm using it right now...). ;)

I don't ordinarily use Cnet for anything, especially not for downloads.

However, there is a work-a-round for using 1Password on a Chromebook.

You may want to check it out and see if work-a-round is feasible for you to use.

I have often thought Linux or Android might be the perfect solution for my users who really use a computer to email and surf and never use programs for anything.

This might make it so much easier to keep their systems clean and up to date.

I used Dropbox and even some games on it, it's a nice working horse but RAM and processor aren't actually something developers can be proud of. And some games as CS:GO and Dragon Age slow down this laptop quite often.

Jack just did a really nice write-up on the Asus Chromebook Flip - http://www.groovypost.com/reviews/asus-chromebook-flip-laptop/. Great read if you're in the market for one... I wasn't before reading the review... it will be here on Friday.
