Hi, I'm new so you have to be nice Just did a clean install of 10 to upgrade an old Win 7 PC. I have installed office 2010 and allowed Windows to update both the O/S and Office. What Ive noticed among the 89 Office updates is duplications of some. KB2553347 has been duplicated 17 times and some others several times. I have manually run an update check with the view that they perhaps did not complete, but with similar results. Can I clean this mess up or is it part of the new generation Windows? Oh, and thanks for looking..

Hi @gus - Welcome to the forum! Does it continue to prompt you to reinstall that update or is it just something you noticed? If you just noticed it in the installed programs list, I would suggest you just ignore it and move on. Probably isn't hurting anything. -S

Hi! I'm not one for beating a dead horse into the ground, but here in my reliability monitor are 4 reasons; IMHO, to down load windows up dates. Could I live without them? Probably, but what will the next windows updates be about. The Reliability Monitor is one of the least know trouble shooters in Windows. Get over it PC W10 users. Windows updates are a good thing. Unless and until you can prove to me that windows updates are bad, don't preach to me not to down load windows updates.
