Windows 8 wont improve to Windows 10 what should to i do?

Hey Hope You are doing well

A laptop computer that is a few years old, wont replace - even even though the producers internet site suggests it runs fine. It's an ACER ES1-512 laptop. I've up to date all the Windows updates - however after walking the upgrade to name is  maaco $300 paint job 2022, it simply says 'installation failed'.

Last inn (I think) is to attempt a smooth deploy from a USB - is there an article on there that describes how to do this? Or does all and sundry have any ideas?
