What to do if the PC don't go to sleep mode on Windows 10

Recommended Posts

The main function of the sleep mode is to shut down the HDD and the monitor
to avoid unnecessary power usage. There are some solutions that I have found by myself
to fix this problem.

  1.  Make sure the sleep mode is enabled.
  2.  Scan for viruses
  3.  Removing the outlying devices.
  4.  Disabling the Hybrid Mode
  5.  Changing the Advanced Power settings.

This is a minor change done by all of us. If you have updated Windows recently
please check the Power Plan settings. There can be something changed with the settings.

You can make a system scan by using the Windows Defender. If there  is any malware behind the issue
you can fix it.

If the webcam, printers, or SD readers are connected to the PC unplug them and check whether the problem
fixes.

Do you know that if the Hybrid Mode is enabled on an older PC, there is a possibility that the PC won't go to
sleep mode? So I recommend you to disable it and check.

We miss some options when coming to the Power Plans and their Advanced Settings. These can stop the PC from sleeping while the streaming.  Such as on YouTube. There is the option to disable this option.

I think these information will be very useful for you. You can get more information into deep by  this article which I got lots of information. Thank you!
