A friend of mine tried to change my windows 7 into an windows 10, he tried to install it but after some time the screen turned black and i can see only the volume button and 'ease of access'. I don't know what to do and i want my laptop to restart, even if it has windows 7 or 10. Help me
our office has (4) computers all running on Windows 7.
My owner wants to upgrade these (4) to Windows 10 Pro.
Yes, they all ignored the free update and are now past
any end of life software support.
What specific sofware do I need to purchase from Microsoft?
I see many Windows 10 options listed out there and I don't
want to purchase unnecessary software. Your professional
advice is needed.
How can I disable the tap to click on the touch pad??? Last Windows 10 upgrade turned it back on and the normal method for turning it off has gone away. It is very difficult to get anything done when even the slightest accidental touch on the touch pad is interpreted as a mouse click.
I would like to fink out if it is possible to control when updates are downloaded in windows 10. I know there is some control to schedule update times, but I'm specifically referring to downloading. In South Africa, Internet costs are quite high, so being able to schedule a download to only happen between midnight and 6am, would be SUPER great!!!! Up to now, Windows 10 is great, but this would really help a lot of people.
On a second note, adding a "Install now" feature would also be great considering the latest bug which could delete files, this would give users time to backup, or completely ignore the update.
If this doesn't exist, is there any way of sending this request to Microsoft? And will they even consider it or give feedback?
