I haven't been able to install updates in months

Recommended Posts

I have a PC I bought a year ago. I haven't been able to install updates through settings in a long time. They fail to install every time. Right now it wants to install 1803 but can't. My computer seems to be installing security updates without a problem for 1709 which is the version I'm on. It looks like it installs them about twice a month and the most recent one installed was KB4023057. Winver says I'm on 1703 OS build 16299.431. I'm okay with 1803 failing to install but I do want 1709 as up to date as possible so I downloaded cumulative update kb4467681 which is the most recent one so it'd bring me up to date and fill in whatever I missed. I've gotten all kinds of error messages in the past few months trying to install updates but this one is error code 0x800f0922. Windows 10 was able to install the updates but had to remove them and rebooted and told me it failed. "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes" What should I do? I have 50gb of free space so storage shouldn't be an issue.
