Both are the same product in some respects, the only difference is the method of acquisition and installation. The physical retail package is stuck at build 10240, which you have to update to the latest version (14393.726) through Windows Update. The digital download through the Microsoft Store using the Media Creation Tool includes the latest release (14393.0), which is updated to .726 either during

My question is this: How, post deployment, can I now create a local account that can be used to update the default profile on the fly. In other words, if I want to make a change to the default account and have it propagate to all users who log in afterwards, how do I do it? To give some context here, I have been able to do this on my Windows 7 images (created using the s

  23. Hey everyone, Last year I performed a free upgrade from windows 8 to windows 10, and yesterday I got a SSD drive and I thought this would've been a good opportunity to clean install my windows on the ssd. But before I did the clean install I wrote down the product key found in the "my pc" properties, but that one only had 20 digits instead of 25. So I installed Produkey to find the product key and it did give me a 25 digit key, but now when I try to activate windows 10 it doesn't work: the product key isn't valid. Could this be the product key for my old windows 8? And why did the windows
